Gosh! I can’t believe how long it’s been since I checked in! So-o-o-o-o-o-o-o much has happened. Believe me, I haven’t forgotten about you. I pray that you are proceeding and succeeding with your businesses. I have spoken with many of you, but certainly not all.
In January, I was finally able to move to Durham to be close to my kids and grands. I rented my home in Mississippi and had to be out in 2 weeks. That meant a quick trip to Durham to locate new digs and then packing and moving my household. Since my townhouse is about 2/3 the size of my home, much of what was considered non-essential now resides in my mom’s attic or a storage building in Gulfport…neither readily available.
Settling in has been such a long process! We are finally just about there. Sure don’t relish the thought of having to do this again in 2 years when I purchase a house.
As there are to be 30 kids in the 4th grade classes, I have decided to home school Justin on a year-round basis. What a learning curve this has been! It is an extremely rewarding experience so far, tho’ very time consuming.
